ocean

The angel who came to Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w.s.) and informed him about the martyrdom of Imam Husain (a.s.) was the angel of the oceans. An angel of Paradise flew down to an ocean, with his wings spread out over the ocean crying: “O folks of the oceans! Put on the garments of grief, for the son of Allahs Messenger (s.a.w.s.) will be slaughtered.” Then he carried some dust of Imam Husain (a.s.) in his wings to the heavens. There was no angel that did not smell it and was not affected by it and they cursed the killers of Husain (a.s.) and their followers. (Kamil al-Ziyrat h. #3)

Holy Quran 6:99

It is He who sent down out of heaven water, and thereby We have brought forth the shoot of every plant, and then We have brought forth the green leaf of it, bringing forth from it close-compounded grain, and out of the palm-tree, from the spathe of it, dates thick-lustered, ready to the hand, and gardens of vines, olives, pomegranates, like each to each, and each unlike to each. Look upon their fruits when they fructify and ripen! Surely, in all this are signs for a people who do believe.

leaf

Holy Quran 6:59

With Him are the keys of the Unseen; none knows them but He. He knows what is in land and sea; not a leaf falls, but He knows it. Not a grain in the earth’s shadows, not a thing, fresh or withered, but it is in a Book Manifest.

the forest

“And If you knew the grief which will befall the folks of the seas, mountains and forests and hills and heavens due to the killing of Imam Husain (a.s.), you would weep so much that you would die.” – Abu Dharr (ra) (Kamil al-Ziyarat h. # 11)

flower

Imam Ali (AS) said, Take from every knowledge the best of it, for indeed the bee partakes from the most beautiful of every flower, so two precious substances are produced from it: in one of them is a cure for the people, and the other is a means of illumination. (Ghurar al-Hikam – h. # 6943)
