The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Just as grapes can never be harvested from thorn bushes, thus can the wrongdoers never come up to the level of the righteous, for they are two distinct paths, whichever one of them you take is where you will arrive.’ (Mizan al-Hikmah h. #50)
Sa’d ibn Khalaf narrated that Imam Kazim (a.s) said: “Salat is as sweet smelling as a freshly cut branch of a green tree when they are performed on time. One picks from a tree when it is fresh, pure and good smelling. Therefore I advise you to perform your prayers on time.” Mishkāt al-anwār fī ghurar al-akhbār h. 345
Imam Sadiq (a.s) said: “There is a means of comfort for everything. The birds get their rest from being with other birds. Likewise believers (momin) rest when they associate with other believers.” ( Mishkāt al-anwār fī ghurar al-akhbār h. #492).
The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘No animal, including a bird or any other kind, is killed unjustly except that it will raise a complaint against him [the killer] on the Day of Resurrection. (Mizan al-Hikmah h. # 206)
