وَيَا قَوْمِ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا وَيَزِدْكُمْ قُوَّةً إِلَىٰ قُوَّتِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَوَلَّوْا مُجْرِمِينَ
And, O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn unto Him repentant; He will cause the sky to rain abundance on you and will add unto you strength to your strength. Turn not away, guilty!
Imam Sadiq (a.s) narrated that his noble grandfather quoted on the authority of Imam Ali (a.s): “There is a reality for every right affair, and there is a light for every right affair. Therefore act according to the Quran and abandon whatever is opposed to the traditions of God’s Prophet (a.s).” Mishkāt al-anwār fī ghurar al-akhbār h. 802
Imam Sadiq (a.s) quoted on the authority of his noble father: “There is no believer (momin) without two lights in his heart: The light of fear and the light of hope. If you weigh each one, it will not outweigh the other one.” Mishkāt al-anwār fī ghurar al-akhbār h. 596
“God’s Prophet said, “When the Honorable the Exalted God created Paradise, He created it from the Light of the Throne. Then God took some of that Light and spread it. I received one-third of that Light. One-third of it reached Fatimah. One-third reached Ali and the members of his household. Whoever is touched by this Light shall fall in love with the Household of Muhammad. Whoever is untouched by this Light is in darkness being outside the friendship of the Household of Muhammad.” (Al-Khisal, h. # 258)
” A person of faith (momin) moves through five types of light. There is light from where he comes, light from where he leaves, light in knowledge, light in speech, and there is light on the Resurrection Day. ” (Imam Ali (as) – Al – Khisal – h. # 20)
